Building community through dance with youth & adult programs at the intersection of arts, education and mental health & wellness.

Who Are We?

We are a community ensemble birthed out of Ground Rhythm Dance Project. We offer high quality dance education to ages 9-15. Our program provides dance training and performance opportunities for young people who lack access to the performing arts and serves as a positive outlet for artistic expression.

Dancers in the ensemble are trained year-round in an array of styles ranging from Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz, to Hip-hop and African dance. We also teach dance history and encourage our young dancers to draw cultural connections back to their personal experiences within the dancemaking process. As an ensemble we value community, history, diversity and creativity. We hope to expand our dance programs by engaging more youth in the arts.
